Health Is not A Result Of Once In A Lifetime Transformation

Health is not a result of a once in a lifetime transformation but a series of small steps every day towards changing your habits and preventing relapse back into old ones.

Health is not achieved by just following a specific diet plan or exercise program because to be healthy is to be willing to take the long road of changing how you think, feel and react to life.

You will only achieve sustainable health if you change your old unhealthy habits to healthy and helpful ones.

And creating new healthy habits, its easier than you think, but you have to do it every day, not just on the days you feel like it.

Most times, you will find yourself on the brink of slipping back to your old habits but if you keep your promise to yourself and do the following tips, you will achieve sustainable health by creating sustainable habit change;

🎯 Set real health goals, not just a number on the scales:
The best thing you can do is to breakdown your big goals to small little steps so you can achieve little by little. remember, great results comes from little steps. Rome wasn't built in a day, and great health takes more than a few weeks. Its a life long adventure in life style changes.

👀Stay focused:
Losing focus of what you want to achieve and why happens in the blink of an eye as other life pressures tumble in. Keeping your focus on what you really want out of life, is essential to keep you on track with your health goals.

🍓Choose healthy food options:
Make sure you stay on top of your food choices by adopting healthier food choices. Develop a system that keeps you mindful of your food choices in times of stress and anxiety and in times of tiredness.

🏃‍♀️Stay active:
Make sure you move your body daily. It doesn't have to be hours and hours, it doesn't have to be a gym, it just has to be consistent and fun and fit into your schedule and lifestyle. Mix it up, variety is the spice of life.

📝Keep track:
Keep track of your progress and constantly check in with your thoughts and feelings. But remember to focus on the process, not the result. The result comes from following the process.

👭Increase accountability:
Surround yourself with people who encourage you to stick to your promises to yourself. Hire a coach, someone who is dedicated to your success.

🧡Trust your journey:
Release unrealistic expectations of fast results. Results do not come instant. If you don't see the results right away but you're doing all the things you promised to do, be patient and trust the process. Every body is unique and results vary too. Stressing about results is an unhealthy habit you've developed. Let it go.
