If your body was a rental, would you get your bond back? If not, then it’s never too late to make a change.  

 

If we want our future to be fit, healthy, happy and active, then we need to practice now to make that happen.  

 

  • An athlete, who wants to win gold at the Olympics, doesn’t just show up on the day, unprepared. They practice every day for the imagined time in their future 

 

  • Arnold Schwarzenegger didn’t turn up to a body building competition without having done the training every day beforehand. 

 

  • No one gets to the top of their game without focusing consistently and persistently on what it is they want to achieve

 

They all practice now for the future they want for themselves. 

 

PRACTICE CAN BE FUN

5 THINGS YOU CAN PRACTICE TODAY FOR A GREAT TOMORROW 

 

  1. EAT SIMPLY AND FRESH: it’s a no brainer but really something that has fallen by the wayside in our “convenience food” society. But simple food is tasty, easy to create, full of naturally occurring vitamins, nutrients and fibre. Enjoy it in abundance. 

  2. MOVEMENT AND OUTSIDE TIME: again, keep it simple and easy to fit into your lifestyle, but be persistent and consistent in your application of it. Get outside time every day – regardless of the weather. Hot, cold, snow, rain, windy, it’s all stimulating to your mind and body and helps build your immunity and keep your mind healthy

  3. DROP THE DRAMA: Be choosy about what you watch, read and listen to – and that includes the people you socialise with. Look for positive, life affirming, forward focused energy. Cultivate happier, more optimistic thoughts. 

  4. LAUGH MORE: Life can feel like a struggle, but when we allow ourselves to find the humour, it lightens our mood and that leads us to better lifestyle choices.

  5. LOVE OPENLY: Open your heart, even to those you don’t want to. We’re all human beings having a human experience and it’s amazing the changes that can occur when we feel someone sees us as we truly are.
