I was thinking the other day about the times in my life when I've sat down and decided on a goal that I wanted to achieve.
It'd be a goal I was determined to achieve because it'd provide a great and desired impact in my life.
I'd spend the day thinking about it, feeling the enthusiasm for it, thinking about what I've gotta do to achieve it and deciding on what my first action would be starting the very next day.
Then either that very next day or one of the days soon after it, I wouldn't follow through on my plan.
All that motivation and enthusiasm have flown the coop. All that energy that had been coursing through my veins and propelling me forward, gone, without explanation.
I never understood how I could be all fired up and soooooooo determined one day, not only vowing to get on with the business of achieving my goal, but super excited about it as well as I always had a kick arse plan, and then simply not follow through.

Diets are a map right?
They’re a map from where you are to where you want to go.
The map you get looks simple enough and straight forward;
But the map you bought is an incomplete map, its not 3D, it’s the difference between a paper map and then actually going out into the wilderness and trying to navigate your way through the dense woods, rocky mountain terrain and swamps.
It looks straight forward but the reality is when you set off to follow it you find there's all kinds of obstacles that you have to navigate through or around that they never gave you any strategies, instructions or prepared you for:

With Coronavirus around and people being quarantined and isolated, most of us have finally had the time we've always been craving before this health crisis.
With the time given, use it to imagine, visualize and plan your next steps towards your goals in the future.
So, is now the time to put your future on the shelf?
Definitely NOT!!!
It's time to take them off the shelf instead, give them a good clean up and forward plan your next steps to achieve them. So, when this pandemic ends and your normal life comes back, you are already clear on what steps to take.
