In this fast-paced world, finding ways to reduce stress and tension has become more critical than ever.
When we change our approach to communication we can significantly and positively impact our overall well-being.
As the saying goes, "When we start to say things in a different way, we can start to create those new images in our mind." This powerful insight highlights the connection between our language and mental imagery, which plays a vital role in managing stress.
Emotional eating is a common response to stress and anxiety. Often, we find comfort in food during challenging times, leading to unhealthy habits and weight gain.
The first step towards breaking free from emotional eating patterns is to reduce stress and anxiety levels.
By consciously altering our vocabulary and communication style, we can transform the mental images we create.
Imagine replacing alarming images with neutral, calming, or even playful tones. These new mental pictures ca...

We always say we don’t have time to relax and do things we enjoy.
The reality is though that real joy comes in little pockets.
Here are some of the little pockets of joy I enjoyed this week in amongst the busy busy days.
Life is everywhere, and all it takes to enjoy it is to take a moment and just stop, literally stop, and look around.
Now, stop what you’re doing and head outside, if you’re not out there already, and lift your head and look around, like what you’re seeing is for the first time. Enjoy.

Do you have foods that completely trigger you?
You know, the ones where one’s too many and 100’s not enough, and you find yourself devouring them like an unstoppable eating machine?
I used to be caught on that perpetual wheel, bewildered and desperate to find a way out. If I asked myself once I asked myself 1000 times "Why can't I stop this? How do I break free?"
I asked everyone around me, searching for answers to those questions. And you know what I discovered? They had no idea! They all felt as powerless and bewildered as I did that what we wanted consciously, had no bearing on unconscious behaviours we had set in place.
What I discovered after my very long 25 year quest to resolve this problem was that the secret lies in allowing ourselves to outgrow those foods.
And out growing something leads to feeling indifferent to triggering foods which is where freedom lives.
Instead of seeing them as something irresistible, I learned to view them as just cake...

Lets dive deep into the concept of loving ourselves naked.
What does that truly mean?
Typically, “loving yourself naked” is seen as a promise or a benefit of losing weight. However, let's pause for a moment and reflect on what happens when we look in the mirror and don't embrace self-love in our rawest form?
Often, we catch a glimpse of ourselves and immediately notice our perceived flaws, those bulging bits that make us feel self-conscious.
But here's the reality: if we can't love ourselves naked, bulging bits and all, then the likelihood of loving yourself naked, even if you look like a model, is going to be unlikely as we’ve missed the point that love is about who we are, not how we look.
What are we doing when we fail to embrace self-love while looking in the mirror?
We're essentially telling ourselves, "I don't like how you look, and I won't accept you until you resemble a model."
When we don't love the body we have right now, it's easy to be...
